Veeam is looking for Senior Director, Global Alliances who has proven experience driving the development of key partner relationships. Our organization has a strong partnership GTM motion with top tier partnerships including HPE, Lenovo, Cisco as well as our top storage and emerging partnerships. This role is highly visible and critical to accelerating our partnership footprint across the ecosystem as we continue to lead the market.

This position will report to the Global Vice President of Channel and Alliances and will have full ownership of our strategic alliances long term. Successful candidates must have proven experience in working collaboratively across executive leaderships, field sales organizations, product development, and business practices. They will need a track record of success, be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Additionally, they will need to be focused on communication and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will possess an extensive background in owning, defining, and executing strategic direction of alliances with partners. At Veeam, the Senior Director, Global Alliances will be responsible for:

  • Aligning strategic partnerships and alliances to a common goal

  • Have network

  • Building relationships with external and internal stakeholders (partners/alliances and executive leadership)

  • Building, defining and executing a long term, customer focused, results driven plan

They should be a self-starter, with demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and technical challenges to help build and convey compelling value propositions for Veeam customers with our partners. The candidate should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with prior solutions and program successes. This is a global role and requires a global perspective, so international travel experience is desirable.

Day to Day:

  • Lead the Global Alliance team in driving growth results

  • Build, maintain and drive relationships with Strategic partners at executive level

  • Measure and inspect Partners and Team Members against key metrics for success

  • Lead the Systems Integrators (SI) team and help build offerings that emerge as GTM plays for the Field Alliance Managers to execute upon

  • Hold QBR and Annual Reviews of all Allliance Partners

  • Work to ensure reporting to ELT on a regular basis

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in leading Alliances/Partner teams for a global technology company (Strong network with Top Tier alliances HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, top storage vendors and emerging alliances)

  • Travel up to 50% of the time

  • Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results.

  • Track record of overachieving sales revenue.

  • Experience managing large and complex global partner ecosystems with a proven understanding of the various business models, trends, and market pressures.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to build out strategic plans with Alliances.

  • Proven ability to partner with a wide variety of senior-level individuals including top-level business leaders and customers.

  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

United States of America Pay Range

$283,900—$405,500 USD
