About the role:
As the Global Solutions Architect, and core member of our legendary Global Solutions Team, you will ensure an exceptional client experience for everyone, every time. You will create best practices to achieve the goals of AMPLEXOR's clients, in turn, contributing to AMPLEXOR's overall success. You will be the client advocate within AMPLEXOR. Create detailed solution proposals and plans for all projects that will meet or exceed both the client expectations and requirements.
Manage the crafting of proposals for all linguistic and technical facets of localization projects of a low to high level of complexity as assigned.
Increase efficiencies and improve overall quality and ease of execution, while seeking to reduce scope and production costs for the client.
Contribute to building competencies within linguistic and technical services. The Global Solutions Architect is expected to provide support to Sales in the crafting of winning proposals and to work with operations to ensure appropriate input and validity of prepared solutions.
Analyze wins and losses on proposals worked on and define corporate gaps in service offerings or approaches.
Write detailed handoff specifications to internal and/or external clients.
Have documentation in place to enable seamless coverage and build library of solutions for ease of reference and reuse.
Provide Translation services and Technology Strategy input based on sales opportunity needs.
Work to gain efficiencies by improving processes, handoffs, hand backs, and other localization improvements.
Complete training and ongoing support for internal production users on solutions and with clients as required.
Willingness to travel as required to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Maintain a quality mindset in all of your work, adhering to quality requirements as defined by the AMPLEXOR Quality Management System.
An Associate's degree is required, or equivalent academic experience (baccalaureate preferred) at minimum, including some subject area experience relevant to globalization, internationalization, culture or language. Or 3+ years of language services and l10n space experience (preferably in a similar role).
1-2 years of Account/Project Management specific experience.
Top notch verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills, telephone, email and correspondence etiquette.
A legendary ability to multitask and handle a multitude of projects at once.
Technology savvy. You don't need to be a hacker, but a high proficiency using common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and solid working knowledge of PowerPoint and Access, is expected.
Solid understanding of localization solutions and tools spanning language and technology.
An entrepreneurial, self-confident flair coupled with professional, team-oriented execution.
Competitive landscape understanding and awareness.
Ability to visually and verbally represent solutions in well-crafted proposal documents.
Visio, graphic, and diagnostic questioning abilities.
Quickly pick up fluency on technologies used by clients in various industries.

Perform successfully in an outsourcing/offshoring model.
Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Desire to drive process and efficiency improvements.

Mastery skills in translation memory tools such as well as proprietary tools is required.
