Waters Global Services (WGS) Product Management has a highly visible opportunity to focus on positioning and marketing Waters Global Services that represent one-third of total global revenues for the enterprise. The Global Service Organization is looking for a Product Manager to make a significant impact to Waters' long term growth by leading the portfolio evolution, development and success of our service solutions.
The Global Services Product Manager will use their knowledge of our customers and markets to develop a strategy and roadmap for the continued development of our service and support entitlements. In this role, the individual will oversee product line development and commercialization for program strategy, operational readiness and on-going sales and service support for emerging and developing solutions including hardware, software and value added services as well as evolve the existing solutions.
A key focus for this role will be working with a cross functional team to generate programs that increase plan coverage and value added revenues.
Develop the short and long term roadmap for our continued portfolio development and deployment
Work across functions to set requirements for future portfolio development and the evolution of existing offerings
Conduct market and competitive analysis to define trends and evaluate new market opportunities
Work across functions to define and develop value proposition, pricing strategy, product messaging and positioning
Lead and manage product development life cycle
Lead and partner with regional sales, service and marketing teams to champion training and enablement
Work across functions to align demand generation activities with LC, MS, Chemistries and informatics
Establish, analyze, monitor and report regularly on the financial performance of the portfolio, sales trends and market pricing dynamics
Support marketing communications in development of collateral and content
The candidate will manage budget to support relevant marketing activities for the success of the portfolio
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or appropriate experience in marketing science based
At least 5 years product management or solution marketing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Waters Services and Support product portfolio with emphasis on Software Maintenance, Service Plans and related premium consultative
Proven track record of successfully creating, executing and assessing marketing programs in a matrixed organization preferred.
Possess a growth mindset to deliver key projects in a timely and committed
Excellent collaborative and networking skills with the ability to engage relevant team members and management in new
