We have a new position as Global Service Manager who will hold ownership for how we service our products for our customers based in New Zealand, Malaysia, United Kingdom and across the United States.


For this position we are looking for a service expert to join the Invenco team, ideally with a background in hardware engineering as well as experience with mass production manufacturing. It would be advantageous if you have experience working with products designed for harsh environments, and will understand the importance of looking looking at the data from the field and analyzing faults.

We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership nous, who will be able to lead an exceptional global service team. This will be a varied position - and you will be working across different countries, and with cross-functional teams. The key focus will be to deliver excellent service and repairs for Outdoor Payment Terminal (OPT) customers and service partners, by ensuring a global Service Strategy is planned, developed and executed that will deliver a consistent, efficient and quality service experience for all customers and partners around the world.

In this position you will hold responsibility for:

  • Provide excellent service for all our global customers - ensuring that all SLAs are met with quality and timely servicing of parts
  • Create a profit center-based revenue strategy via data supported Life Cycle Management
  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable documents for Invenco systems and processes
  • Ensure all stakeholders receive relevant training that is communicated succinctly with accurate information
  • All service data is captured in Invencos service database enabling accurate billing and root cause analysis
  • Ensure timely and appropriate feedback of of fault trends is communicated back to relevant departments

Requirements

To be suitable for this position, you will be an excellent communicator with a strong hardware engineering background.
Your resume should also demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial acumen and proven experience leading a Service Centre.
  • Experience with robust products designed for harsh environments (military, marine, aerospace, automotive, payments etc)
  • Relevant education in Electronic Engineering or similar
  • Proven experience maintaining industrial products with a high need for reliability
  • Understanding of the engineering product lifecycle
  • Product Development for mass production
  • Strong analysis skills and proven experience at understanding the data from the field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Service Manager or Repair Center experience
  • Experienced at leading a high-performing team
  • Ability to travel

RESPONSIBILITIES * Help build a project management framework to enable rapid development and localization of country payrolls * * In collaboration with project teams, create and maintain project plans and schedules including deliverables across all impacted areas of assigned projects * Provide oversight and leadership during project execution to ensure alignment with project deadlines * Take ownership of the project process, project deliverables and communication frameworks including administration of project collaboration tools and document repositories * Provide SDLC process expertise and work directly with the project sponsors and key stakeholders on the applicable deliverables * Track and report project progress to stakeholders and senior management * Prepare status reports and facilitate project status meetings as defined in the SDLC * Identify risks in conjunction with the project team and stakeholders * Work with the project team and stakeholders (based on the risk) to define mitigation plans and ensure plans are tracked and status of the risks are reviewed on a regular basis * Facilitate impact analysis and estimation of project deliverables across functional disciplines * Partner with Client Groups such as Product Mgmt, DevOps and Senior Business/IT leadership to define and maintain product or portfolio based roadmaps that are broken down into executable projects/stories * Sponsor IT initiated projects for inclusion in the project portfolio MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * BA/BS in Information Systems or related field plus Masters level courses * Solid oral, written and presentation skills * 5 years of solid Project Management experience within Information Technology * Strong experience in applications and systems architecture, and processes pertaining to every phase of product development and deployment * 3+ years in an agile web development environment * Strong understanding of development life cycle methodologies with particular emphasis on Agile software methodology using SCRUM/Kanban or "Scrumban" techniques * Ability to drive multiple project plans, manage dates and meet or exceed budgets * Must be able to work in an open, noisy and alive environment * Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive professional attitude * PREFERRED QUALIFICATION * Experience as the Project Manager in a progressive, financial services/transaction processing/software company that is a recognized leader in information systems technology * Continuing education in new technologies, communications, etc. * Familiar with Atlassian Ecosystem (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket) preferred * Experience operating in both startup & enterprise team environments * Experience working with external technology vendors #LITECH #LI-AA2 We're designing a better way to work, so you can achieve what you're working for.
