Job Title: Global Security Testing Manager

Position Summary:

As a Global Security Testing Manager, you will develop and maintain the security organization's strategy around security testing. The Global Security Testing Manager is essential to ensuring coordination across international locations to ensure security testing objectives are met. The Global Security Testing Manager position is responsible for coordinating across the organization and providing a testing function that helps Equifax maintain continuous compliance.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Security Programs, you will develop, recruit, and lead the Security Testing function for Equifax.

Additional responsibilities of the Global Security Testing Manager include:

  • Defines criteria, tools, and methodologies for control testing, based on enterprise-wide control testing strategies

  • Manages testing of controls on a scheduled basis to assess compliance against enterprise policies and standards and determine operating and design effectiveness of controls

  • Performs regulatory compliance assessments related to IT and Information Security

  • Prepares for kick-off meetings, requests and gathers testing evidence, documents testing results, and drafts reports

  • Presents the risk findings, recommendations, exceptions, and risk acceptances for all types of assessments

  • Collaborate with the issue management lead to monitor remediation and risk issue escalation and management

  • Coordinate across international locations to ensure security testing objectives are met

Required Skills of the Global Security Testing Manager:

  • 7-10 years of relevant industry experience

  • 3-5 years of management experience

  • Significant experience with the key concepts related to risk assessment, controls, and testing

  • Strong knowledge around continuous compliance and evidence re-use processes

  • Knowledge of IT and IS Risk frameworks and methodologies such as ISO 27005, ISO 27001/27002, and/or NIST 800-53

  • Experience in project management and managing a cross-functional team

Education:

  • Security certifications, such as: Certified Information Security Management (CISM), Certified Risk Information Security Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree is required

Essential Responsibilities * Lead second line testing team in Risk Testing * Organize, train and lead a team of exempt testing personnel to test the control effectiveness within the business and ensure effective oversight of timely and effective remediation of deficiencies. * Work with other 2nd line functions to coordinate testing activities * Manage the testing process from the creation of test scripts, to test execution and the reporting of results. * Build functional testing capability and technical acumen of team members within the disciplines of Operational, Compliance, and Credit Risk * Review reports and provide input/direction on findings and recommendations in preparation for review by the ELT and Risk Pillar Leaders. * Communicate and interact with senior leaders of the company across a variety of issues that arise during risk testing. * Make recommendations to business line management and staff for enhancing 1st line business surveillance processes to prevent or detect risk control deficiencies. * Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of work experience in the financial services industry; or in lieu of a degree, 11+ years in the financial services industry * 5+ years of risk management, testing, surveillance or audit experience * 1+ years of experience leading teams of professional staff\ Desired Characteristics * Prior experience managing Risk or Audit test engagements * Experience with BSA/AML and Fair Lending regulations * Familiarity with and operating understanding of consumer loan products and processes * Industry certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) * Demonstrated experience in coaching, developing and managing the performance of geographically dispersed teams/employees * Use of personal influence and credibility to achieve organizational results by collaborating with cross- functional/cross-platform employees * Proven ability to influence senior management and initiate change * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications Eligibility Requirements: * You must be 18 years or older * You must have a high school diploma or equivalent * You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process * You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. * Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.
