Work you'll do:

In this interesting and diverse role, you will work in the team of the Global Chief Risk Officer to support the organization in delivering consistent high standards of Quality & Risk Management (QRM) across its network of member firms that will continuously protect, preserve, and enhance the Deloitte brand and reputation.

You will be responsible for working with Senior Deloitte Risk Leaders and support the execution of key global QRM strategic initiatives and priorities that will help shape the future of Deloitte's QRM infrastructure, processes and tools to enable practitioners to be successful in the market place. Specific roles and responsibilities include the following:

  • Work directly with member firm risk leaders to help improve member firm QRM processes, capabilities and maturity

  • Provide consultative support to member firms and share leading QRM practices

  • Facilitate, coordinate and implement cross business Global QRM strategic initiatives

  • Monitor the status of strategic initiatives by conducting regular follow ups and required reporting for relevant stakeholders (member firms & Deloitte Global)

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive more consistency in the planning and execution of existing QRM programs

  • Develop tools, templates, and guidance necessary to support implementation existing and new QRM programs

  • Work with Senior Deloitte Risk and Business Risk leaders in developing guidance for member firms (frameworks, playbooks, templates and tools, etc)

  • Lead ad-hoc projects that are agreed to be a priority for Global Risk

  • Attend and provide support at Global Risk leadership meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who you'll work with:

The Senior Manager will have significant interaction with and exposure to Global and member firm leaders, including Risk, legal, Businesses (Audit, Tax, Consulting, FA and RA), Business Risk leaders and risk related subject matter experts, and work with other Global Risk professionals to make an impact by developing programs, processes and policies to preserve, protect and enhance the Deloitte brand. As well as proactively identifying new and emerging risks that could significantly impact the organization, manage and mitigate risks as they occur which helps build the organization's resiliency capabilities and support the delivery of high quality, seamless cross-border services to clients.

How you'll grow:

The Senior Manager role will develop the candidate's in-depth and specialized knowledge of the Deloitte organization and strategic risk, as well as give the candidate an overview and understanding of leading QRM practices around the world and the external regulatory landscape that professional services firms operate in. The dynamics of this role will help the Senior Manager build strong relationships with leaders from Deloitte Global and member firms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to interact with people at all levels across Deloitte Global and member firms

  • Ability to frame, evaluate and address complex issues quickly

  • Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses to leadership in short timeframes

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of your time

Education and experience:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other business-related field.

  • 5 + years of working experience in either one of the following areas:

  • Professional services organization in the areas of risk related role; or experience in providing audit or advisory type services

  • Program/Project Management Office

  • Strategy & Operations
