We are looking for a Global Program Manager to join our LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) - Sales Readiness Team. We are responsible for bringing innovative sales enablement solutions to our salesforce. This includes new product and product update changes, sales skills training, sales methodology, portfolio selling and productivity tools.

Responsibilities:

The Global Program Manager will be reporting into the Senior Global Program Manager and is responsible for building and leading global cross-functional project teams to ensure programs are successfully deployed and capabilities are delivered. To be successful, you will develop plans and project timelines, own the completion of milestones, prioritize actions, communications plans, report status, handle risk mitigation and eliminate blockers as needed.

  • Effectively communicate throughout the program deployment lifecycle and be an influential change champion.

  • Go deep in understanding and validating customer needs, translate them into specific and actionable requirements, product roadmaps and project plans.

  • Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis, extrapolate key insights and deliver recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement the approved recommendations.

  • Learn quickly, be proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of work.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years experience in a project management role within a sales enablement or training organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Analytical in your approach to understanding business impact of our sales readiness programs.

Expertise in project and program management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to interact with a spectrum of audiences ranging from senior executives to sales reps.

Ability to lead multiple projects and programs concurrently and perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

What you'll do As the Global Sales Compensation Manager, you will oversee design, communication, administration and analysis of global sales compensation for our go-to-market organization. In this high impact role, you will work closely with executives and internal functions including sales, finance and accounting, and HR to improve and establish processes and systems for our next stage of growth. * Lead and drive the incentive compensation design and planning process and ensure alignment of plans with Segment's strategies and objectives * Create incentive compensation models and scenarios to support changes to plan design * Communicate plans to our go-to-market organization and create training materials for new and existing teammates to understand their plans and how they work * Oversee related processes including plan distribution and commission calculations * Provide stakeholders with monthly reporting on commission data and plan effectiveness/efficiency * Oversee research and resolution of commission-related inquiries and disputes * Collaborate with HR, finance and accounting teams to meet monthly deadlines and ensure payments are made on a timely and accurate basis * Collaborate with various teams on transition to ASC 606 and other compliance or regulatory changes * Implement, maintain and administer systems and infrastructure * Build, manage, and mentor team You're a great fit if… * You have a bachelor's degree * You have 7+ years of incentive compensation, commission calculation, and sales support experience (multinational technology or SaaS experience preferred) * You have strong project management skills, and in-depth knowledge of sales compensation plan processes and procedures * You have the ability to partner, collaborate and influence across functional areas * You have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels * You have experience implementing process and systems * You have strong analytical and modeling skills and the ability to research issues, make evaluations on problems and recommend viable solutions * You have successfully built and managed a team of proactive, talented professionals * You are highly motivated, self-driven, and able to deal well with ambiguity * You are a team player with a humble and positive attitude Segment is an equal opportunity employer.
