The Global Studies Program at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Global Programs Administrator.
St. Kate's vision is to be respected globally for educating women who transform the world. The Global Studies office supports students in selecting study abroad programs that align with their interests, academic goals, and course timeline and offers continued support from the application phase through to the return to campus. The Global Programs Administrator leads the development of short-term study abroad programs and coordinates virtual exchange/COIL opportunities for engaged global learning across the University.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee and manage portfolio of faculty-led study abroad programs, including program development and administration, policy and procedure development and implementation, and budget management. Provide Canvas support to faculty leading Global Studies courses.
Support and develop virtual exchange/COIL curricular opportunities across the university, including for courses in CFW, CFA, and the Graduate School.
Advise and counsel students, particularly participants in short-term study abroad courses, before, during, and after the study abroad experience. Assist Global Studies team with office events including student orientation, faculty orientation, Study Abroad Fair, etc.
Assists in the management of the Global Studies Office, including staff support. Works with the OSE Director and the Provost to respond to any risk management issues.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Three (3) years experience working in higher education or the field of international education
Budget management experience
Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse populations
Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills
Strong technology skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field
Study abroad advising experience
Experience with virtual learning programs or teaching online
Experience with database management
Experience working with collaborators and/or partner organizations outside of the United States
International experience (studying, living or working abroad)
