Global Program Director
The Global Program Director will develop strategies to influence the purchase of Anixter products and service/solution offerings within the assigned account. This will include the identification, qualification and development of target influencers through a variety of company, customer, and industry/trade meetings in order to meet sales goals. You will manage the entire sales process from initial contact, relationship development, needs analysis, proposal, pricing/bid process, and execution of contract. By coordinating the necessary internal and external resources, you will be responsible for the ongoing engagement with your account(s). this includes the development of business relationships and the ongoing creation of incremental business that will meet (or exceed) your sales goals.
5-7 years of outside sales experience
Excellent presentation/demonstration as well as verbal/written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and foster internal and external business relationships to achieve results.
Strong negotiation skills.
Self-directed and well organized.
Location can be based in California with a preference for greater Los Angeles area.
