The Global Productivity and Sales Tools (GPST) team is responsible for leading efficiency improvements for our global Sales organizations by driving the development of better tools and processes.
As a Global Product Lead, you'll connect what the business side (sales teams) require from our tools with the Product/Engineering teams that can make those requests come to life.
As a Global Product Lead (GPL) for Data Platform, you will work directly with Product Management and Engineering team to design, develop, and launch improvements that are the foundation of our Customer Relationship Management System. You will represent the Ads and Publisher/Platforms Sales Organizations, translating their needs into requirements for PM and Engineering.
Partnering closely with PM and the Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations team, you will be responsible for influencing the product roadmap and driving global adoption for our program.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of project management experience. Experience handling daily activities to drive deliverables.
Experience with analyzing and recognizing patterns in data and coordinating between disparate business processes, perspectives and data points.
Experience ideating solutions to problems relating to technical processes/workflows and back-end data infrastructure.
Experience working with datasets to identify outliers, synthesize and summarize key findings which lead to feature enhancements needed to address underlying issues.
Experience in gathering/documenting requirements and recommending strategies for tool development.
Demonstrated ability to be concise, communicate clearly and present to executives.
Moderate quantitative data analysis of large volumes of data.
Bridge user needs with engineering designs.
Synthesize user feedback through testing sessions, build business cases and prioritize requirements for Internal Systems and processes.
Uncover insights and gaps in current tools through analyzing data and translating findings into business asks shared with our product teams.
Generate and triage new tool ideas by partnering with cross functional stakeholders.
