Global Procurement Manager needs 3-5 years work experience in Procurement, Finance, or IT, with a history of success in a breadth of prior challenging experiences

Global Procurement Manager requires:

Bachelors degree in Business, IT or related field
experience with various procurement tools (Bravo, Selectica/Determine, QuickBase, DocuSign).
Proficient in basic Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
project management skills.

Global Procurement Manager duties:

Create financial analysis of deal offerings, identifying advantages and disadvantages of offering vs. other competitive offerings as well as the incumbent service.
Formulate recommendation based upon identifiable quantitative and qualitative factors.
Work with internal Finance, Stakeholder and Legal team members to obtain approvals necessary to execute commercial documents.
Participate with Managers, Sr. Managers and industry specialists, as they conduct RFP, RFQ, RFI, competitive bids, maintenance renewals, and miscellaneous projects.

VIEW JOBS 12/1/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-01T00:00 Auto req ID: 159833BR Job Description * Develop and implement comprehensive global supplier and negotiation strategies for the Global Security Software category (total spend $80MM) that continually improve quality, cost, and service across all PepsiCo business operations * Lead negotiations, support Master Services Agreement, SaaS, Statement of Work development, and analyze/evaluate rates to optimize supplier engagements * Track record of success negotiating with a variety of software suppliers (i.e. HP, SAP, Oracle, IBM, BMC, CA, Symantec, etc.) * Lead cross-divisional business teams including Global and Divisional IT teams, Procurement MSOs and Finance in the successful implementation of strategies, contract negotiations, and processes * Achieve annual productivity targets within the Global Procurement productivity framework * Proactively manage the Software category and related services by tracking spend by vendor; and develop preferred supplier analysis, with a goal of reducing the total number of suppliers while maximizing year over year savings * Work with PepsiCo and industry specialists leading RFP, RFQ, RFI, competitive bids, maintenance renewals, and miscellaneous projects * Lead negotiations, support Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work development, and analyze/evaluate rates to optimize supplier engagements * Drive optimization and eliminate waste from Procurement activities to drive continuous improvement * Ensure use of PepsiCo's policies as well as terms and conditions to ensure best in class economics and minimized risk * Research and implement industry best practices * Encourage use of MWBE suppliers by stakeholders whenever possible; enlist suppliers for second tier spend input * Success in role can lead to various other positions across the global Procurement function Qualifications/Requirements * Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field * 8-10 years' work experience in Procurement or IT, with a history of success in a breadth of prior challenging experiences * Ideally, ability or experience with procurement of: * Enterprise software tools (Perpetual licenses, Appliances, SaaS) * Security tools * Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills * High integrity: won't compromise values to get results * Leadership: eager to embrace and lead change, ability to manage in PepsiCo's ambiguous matrix environment * Focused on results: perseveres and is resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges, works to resolve tough issues * Strong communication and interpersonal skills: comfortable and effective communicating (verbal and written) with all stakeholders, across global markets * Highly collaborative: works well with others, and can identify and inform Procurement, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver results; keeps others informed * Inclusive: treats all people with respect and fairness, open to and respectful of others' opinions and points of view * Innovative: takes initiative to find ways to get better results, seeks and takes advantage of ideas, best practices and solutions Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
