In this role you will:

Contribute to a "Safety First" culture by performing safety inspections and audits and recommending/implementing solutions to risks.
Develop strong technical knowledge of LMC manufacturing processes.
Provide input to global process engineering roadmap for both technical and business process based improvements, incorporating guidance from the BU and Operations leadership.
Bridge collaboration between sites to leverage technical expertise across the organization for continuous improvement and BKM sharing.
Represent global operations harmonization as a key voting member of the site/LMC change control boards.
Participate in New Product Introduction phase gate decision making process focused on ensuring new products are developed with standardized, manufacturable processes.
Provide input to new equipment design and introduction projects to maximize commonality of process and equipment.
Lead business process improvement projects to support harmonized manufacturing working with functional stakeholders across sites in a matrix organization.
Build and maintain relationships across the global organization to enable effective leadership and collaboration.
Communicate effectively across the organization (BU, Operations, NPI, NPD, R&D, etc.) to drive results. Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadership.

Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
3-5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of HVM process equipment
Experience transferring and/or scaling up new chemical manufacturing processes
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as well as statistical data analysis for application to Qualification and Validation. Experience with Minitab a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, etc
Aptitude for leadership to drive division wide cross-functional project execution and problem solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships
Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of Global Process Engineering team charter (<10%)
