Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management, or managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • 5 years of experience in process, policy, or program design for service organizations, leading business transformation initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in Global Mobility/Global Talent Mobility in a scaled environment.

  • Experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives, managing large-scale transformation projects, developing and executing a mobility or tax service outlook.

  • Experience in client management and working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in the United States and LATAM tax systems and global mobility tax concepts.

  • Excellent people management, communication, leadership, and problem solving skills, with the ability to formulate data-driven proposals, with a strong bias to action.

  • Excellent process design skills.

About the job

As a Global Process Owner for Tax and Global Mobility Solutions in the Americas, you will help define the operational strategy and delivery for the function. Developing an effective long-term roadmap, you will oversee improvements to processes and technology to support the tax and mobility solutions strategy design. You will aggregate performance metrics and insights to deliver business reviews and drive a multi-year service roadmap. With deep subject matter expertise in mobility and tax and cross-functional collaboration, this role supports People Experience (PX) delivery decisions and maintains POps and Finance partnerships for our organization. You will partner with peers in other regions, Recruiting, People Consultants, People Partners, and Finance functions such as Payroll and Tax to enable delivery of mobility and tax services. You have exceptional program management, leadership, influencing, problem solving and change management skills. You are willing to take thoughtful risks, iterate quickly, and are ready to work side-by-side with your team, while driving alignment across different functions and regions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for the evolution of our global PX service delivery and resourcing model for the tax and global mobility solutions functions to deliver exceptional Googler experiences. Ensure cross-regional alignment of resources.

  • Use your subject matter expertise to enhance the global mobility solutions and tax operations within, to facilitate meaningful and effective partner discussions.

  • Design process and program improvements with a consideration for global needs, advise partners on risks, dependencies, timing, or technology considerations.

  • Represent our candidates, Googlers and delivery organization to our stakeholders, Product Operations and Tooling teams and develop the PX roadmap, taking client requirements into account, consulting on the value of PX and determining necessary service portfolio adjustments that scale with business needs.
