Position Overview:

Pernod Ricard is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Global le Cercle Director. This role is pivotal in expanding the influence and equity of our Prestige brands, solidifying our leadership in the luxury segment. The successful candidate will lead le Cercle, our exclusive private members club, and its extensive ecosystem, driving high-level engagement and brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Le Cercle Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement a unified global strategy for le Cercle, encompassing all touchpoints including the platform, private client managers, CRM, clienteling, and Maisons le Cercle.

• Set a development roadmap, support markets with existing le Cercle ecosystems, manage platform operations, and refine the proposition based on performance metrics.

• Explore and plan le Cercle expansion into new markets and cities, conducting business case analysis and addressing pain points.

Ecosystem Management:

• Oversee the visual identity and guidelines of le Cercle, ensuring top-tier consistency and visibility.

• Lead onboarding and support for market and brand companies to align with the global vision.

• Maintain strict P&L control and ROI measurement for all initiatives.

Private Client Development & Engagement:

• Recruit, train, and develop a community of Private Client Managers, fostering a strong sense of community and excellence.

• Create a global CRM segmentation and client-centric activation programs with local adaptations, elevating the luxury experience.

• Develop clienteling tools to enhance 1:1 relationships with VIP clients, and plan annual VIP events based on passion points.

• Lead the deployment of Maison le Cercle across markets, ensuring objectives and KPIs are met.

• Develop B2B partnerships to enhance experiences and recruit new VIP clients.

• Continuously improve le Cercle services to VIP clients, offering personalized and exclusive experiences.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a diverse team, engaging various brand and market teams to exceed expectations.

• Manage internal and external resources, including in-house Prestige experts and luxury industry consultants.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree with 12-15 years of experience in the luxury industry, particularly with strong knowledge of fine wine and spirits.

• Strong digital acumen, with a deep understanding of both brand and market dynamics.

• Proven commercial, strategic, and project deployment skills.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong capacity for driving results and impact.

• Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive organizational change, and foster collaboration.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

Travel:

• Global scope with up to 15% travel based on business needs.
