Job Summary:

As a Material Program Manager, you'll use your skills in implementing best-in-class management practices to optimize the supply base performance within the Global Patriot EUCOM Programs, specifically Poland, Ukraine, Sweden, and Spain. This role encompasses the complete life cycle from capture through execution and sustainment. In this role, you'll work with diverse systems and people, you'll be a great team-builder, and you'll provide accountability for the Material Program Plans.

Your specific responsibilities will include assisting with management, coordination and oversight of Global Supply Chain responsibilities and accountabilities for several Global Patriot EUCOM Programs.

This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Represent Global Supply Chain, serving as an interface to the Program Office, while aligning supply chain resources and solutions.

  • Support the creation and management of material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) to ensure program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.

  • Proactive Risk and Opportunity management (both material sales and EAC).

  • Prepare and submit monthly MFT Forecast, including interface and alignment with IPTs, Procurement and FP&A Teams and performs monthly MFT Forecast variance analysis.

  • Supports Global Supply Chain start-up activities for new Programs, including development of Contract Flow-Through Brief (CFB), Material Program Plan (MPP) and baselining activities.

  • Supports bottoms-up proposal management, including PMER kick-offs and engaging at the front end of the business to identify and secure Global Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and management of the Supply Chain proposal content.

  • Supports all Program audits (internal and external), including USG Material Pricing Audits and Program Definitization.

  • Supports EXIM licensing requirements and Part 130 Sweeps.

  • Report Global Supply Chain program status and communicating critical issues to external and internal customers, as well as offering solutions and implementing corrective action.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years' experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.

  • MPM Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year.

  • Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, MRP systems and tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management.

  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced development environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Power point).

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
