WEX Inc. seeks a Global Partner Account Executive, Strategic Accounts to work in Portland, Maine. The Global Partner Account Executive, Strategic Accounts (International Accounts) serves WEXs Corporate Payments largest global enterprise accounts, specifically those requiring expertise in international payments and complex team coordination due to the multi-national and, potentially, multi-organizational nature of the partner.
This position retains and grows significant profitable volume with these accounts; is responsible for collaborating with our partners in a manner that creates opportunity for greater mutual value creation; and has accountability for delivering on strategic growth objectives with the partner as well as leading and managing partnerships with regional WEX teams that are responsible for the day-to-day operations of various subsidiaries of the account. This position works closely with domestic and international leadership, go-to-market and account management teams, as well as Operations, Finance, Product, WEX Bank, and associated Lines of Business relationship management and creating a joint value creation roadmap and moving both organizations toward delivery. This position involves travel both nationally and internationally up to 50%. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and two years of experience in managing and developing international client relations in the B-to-B payments or online travel platform business sectors, with demonstrated experience in relationship management; global finance or travel industry insights; and consultative sales or solution architecture.
