This role reports into to the global marketing team, which is responsible for all the trade shows around the world as well as supplying new demo software and hardware equipment to meet the demo marketing needs. The candidate will interact with current and potential customers and leaders across the globe. The candidate will be working closely with software engineering and product marketing teams identifying the needs of demo software on the latest engineering releases. The candidate will have an opportunity to discover and learn all the products that Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company has to offer to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Eclipse software installation and configuration experience is required.

• Be the point person on the team for software interface on medical devices and our stand-alone software applications {Eclipse, ARIA, Velocity, Brachy, Mobius}.

• Work on site at HQ in Palo Alto to prepare both device and software releases for upcoming major demo trade shows/workshops.

• Maintain a patient demo database including migration, import and export as well as creating custom scripts and batch files.

• Maintain VIC Azure and Citrix platforms for virtual and onsite workshops.

• Install and configure new engineering releases on demo devices.

• Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, routers, networks, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.

• Attend trade shows / conferences, set up the devices (computers, machines) and all sales, marketing systems. Provide technical support to leadership team, sales team, and marketing team during events.

• Attend no less than 5 tradeshows in person each year.

Requirements:

• Location: SF Bay Area Preferred

• Global travel for work {estimated at 25%}

• Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push, pull up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

• Ability to climb the ladder and be comfortable with the height

• MySQL and database concepts knowledge is required.

• Ability to collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical and Software teams.

• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Preferred: Unix and Linux software knowledge.

• Preferred: ARIA software installation and configuration experience.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree Or Master's Degree with 3-5 yrs work experience

The base pay range for this position is

Min $95,900 - Max $172,600

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
