The candidate should possess the following critical skills to be successful in the role:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare/biomedical, biological sciences, genetics, bioinformatics or other related field, masters or doctorate degree preferred
Professional coursework in marketing, MBA preferred
At least 5-years' experience in a sales/marketing role with at least 3 years' experience in marketing
Experience in genetics/genomics market
Experience developing global marketing programs to drive demand for new and existing products, ideally software, & working with global counterparts
Effective project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (written / oral) and fluency in English
Experience with marketing automation platforms and development of nurture flow marketing campaigns is highly desirable
Ability to lead and align campaigns and programs around the corporate and divisional strategic objectives
Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communicator with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization and across various geographies
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas to summarize complex issues
Demonstrated use of marketing skills and market knowledge to commercialize products that result in business success
Demonstrate ability to develop marketing plans that align with strategic objectives
Experience in managing and executing direct marketing customer lead generation and acquisition programs, including e-mail marketing programs
Business related computer skills including knowledge with PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx, Google Analytics, and various CRM software solutions
Must have flexibility in working hours
Travel up to 25% to collect VoC and/or represent Agilent at internal and external events
