The person hired for the position of Global Marketing Operations Manager will lead the division's global marketing operations to drive effective marketing and demand generation initiatives that enable SPSD global sales growth. The Global Marketing Operations Manager will build and execute a transformational marketing strategy and operational plan in consultation with SPSD leadership team, business managers and product teams, to drive growth and alignment. This role will report to Divisional Vice President.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Drive division-wide marketing transformation to move SPSD to an integrated best-in-class marketing organization.
Implement global change management plan to stand-up, integrate and optimize best-in-class marketing capabilities and processes including customer journey mapping, insights, NPI launch process effectiveness, supplier management optimization, packaging/labeling processes, Celum optimization, copy approval process optimization, and marketing automation.
Manage and develop the global marketing operations and demand generation organization to optimize potential, performance and career growth.
Lead global marketing planning process for SPSD to align local-regional-global planning, and prioritize high impact programs to enable growth.
Guide and activate division global brand strategy with consistent, compelling messaging.
Develop and execute comprehensive global digital strategy, holistic digital plan and prioritized execution.
Drive division marketing competency development globally.
Drive effective SPSD internal communications, including planning and coordinating quarterly communication meetings.
Manage division global recognition programs.
Support success of Business Transformation 18A Go-Live.
Guide and optimize the ERP end-to-end Material Create and Extend, Phase-In/Phase-Out and the discontinuation for Saleable Goods process and MICAW process across the division.
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of seven (7) years of marketing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
MBA - Marketing
Global Marketing and Portfolio management experience
New product marketing experience
Experience driving marketing planning, customer journey mapping, brand and insights
Experience driving demand generation initiatives
Team management experience
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage complexity and work collaboratively
Strong strategic and operational mindset and proven track record of results
Strong collaboration, decision making, and leadership experience
Experience in driving significant change management
Ability to distill ambiguous needs into clear plans with specific objectives and deliverables
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complexity
Excellent verbal and written communications
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
Relocation: Relocation Is Authorized
