This role will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining the internal marketing capabilities of the global commercial marketing organization and regional commercial marketing organizations. This role will ensure that industry leading practices and disciplines are ingrained within the Cepheid marketing organization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders globally to embed a structured roadmap for identifying, building and instilling marketing capabilities and excellence within the commercial marketing organization
Align capability modules to apply to different functions within Marketing, including but not limited to: Product Managers, Strategic Marketing, Tactical Marketing and Digital Marketing
Develop and implement comprehensive training curriculum and programs which enable skill-building of our marketeers.
Establish the Cepheid Marketing Academy training environment, approach and expectations in partnership with the Regional and Global Marketing leaders in the commercial marketing organization.
Ensure that all marketing training / skill building leverages the digital age, and aligns with the overall digital mindset embedded within a marketing strategy
Fosters and creates strategic framework with key stakeholders (including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Medical and Training) to support longer term marketing strategies and initiatives
Partners with Talent Development and Training functions to maintain and/or develop marketing development plans for leaders and associates
Validate Marketing capability gaps within the organization and align the appropriate elements to strengthen the organization in the agreed upon areas
Have a strategic focus on Foundational and Advanced marketing levels and skills within Cepheid
Interface with Regional Marketing, LMS Teams and Brand Champions to create a consistent blueprint for success in formal, and self-guided, learning and training opportunities
