GlobalManufacturing Engineering Manager - $150-170K – Chemicals & Specialty Materials Manufacturing. Will work with the business and operation teams at strategic levels to define process technology direction and programs of significance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify business issues and develop plans to define and implement technology related solutions that drive improved process safety, capacity release, cost productivity, product quality and new product commercialization. Sponsor and drive a strong sister plant network to ensure consistent Process Safety Management practices and drive Most Effective Technology (MET) deployment. Ensure PSM Technology elements are adequately resourced and systems are in place to ensure regulatory and corporate policy compliance, ensuring that Safety corrective actions are completed on time. Proactively drive engagement and consistency across the global production assets for the Process Technology, PHA, Management of Change and Operating Practice elements PSM.


Bachelor’s Engineering Degree required. Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred. 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, technical process development and/or manufacturing process improvements. Experience in chemical/materials processing and associated equipment engineering. Experience leading significant organizational change. Process Safety Management experience. Working knowledge of Research & Development, Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain functions.

As the Engineering Supervisor you are responsible for providing leadership and technical direction for a team of manufacturing technicians who support multiple manufacturing value streams. You will spend time working to grow and develop talent, complete projects with cross functional teams, and drive continuous improvement through application of the Danaher Business System. Your Responsibilities Include: * Lead engineering teams to successfully deliver projects on time. * Establish department goals, objectives, and budgets. * Collaborate on and develop future vision for the manufacturing engineering support team. * Mentor technicians and engineers, driving exceptional results through others. * Maintain and advance cross-functional team relationships. * Support associate development plans to build and improve the capability of the team. * Ensure policy and procedures are followed * Accountable for hiring, firing, and disciplinary decisions affecting employees. * Forecasts and assigns staffing to meet current and forward looking production needs. Basic Qualifications: * High school degree with 8+ years exp. OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years exp. OR Master's degree with 3+ years exp. * Minimum 2 Years direct supervision experience * Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and present on complex technical topics * Demonstrated capability using a formal problem solving process * Experience using lean manufacturing tools to drive improvement.
