The Global Learning and Development Coordinator will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. As a Global Learning and Development Coordinator at Latham, you will support the department and the office by ensuring that the transactional responsibilities of the department are met in a timely manner. You are responsible for providing a variety of Learning & Development support services for the Learning & Development function, providing day-to-day functional support, maintaining and developing existing and innovative training programs, and servicing support for the Learning Management System (LMS) while accomplishing these and other critical functions:

  • Taking direction from managers to ensure successful day-to-day operations of the Learning & Development function

  • Coordinating all pre and post program activities both on the ground and in the LMS

  • Acting as a point of contact for the LMS in conjunction with the Global Human Resources Operations and Global Technology teams

  • Working with the Global Human Resources Operations and Global Technology teams in optimizing delivery of learning management system functionality and new system features for functional business departments

  • Vetting, selecting, and compiling courses of interest to firm personnel

  • Working with firm course content provider in building curated course content for personnel and guidance in learning management system course catalog organization

  • Compiling learning reports and analysis on completion records and trends in the LMS

  • Working with Global Human Resources Operations, Global Technology team, and any external benchmarking vendors on firm survey analysis, reporting, and presentations, as needed

  • Communicating with vendors regarding training scheduling, shipment of materials, and billing

  • Facilitating training programs, as needed

  • Maintaining and updating the Learning & Professional Development internal SharePoint site

  • Assisting in affinity group management and internal SharePoint site

  • Completing special projects on various issues, as needed

  • Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers

As a Global Learning and Development Coordinator, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Global Learning and Development Coordinator must have HRIS experience, preferably in SabaCloud, SAP Business Objects, CheckBox, Survey software, and PeopleSoft. Experience with Kronos Timekeeper is a plus. High attention to detail and project management skills is required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are also required.

A Bachelor's degree with a focus in Industrial/Organizational psychology or related field is preferred. Three (3) years of Training and Development experience in a legal or professional services environment may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
