FCA ICT is seeking a global lead for Connected Vehicle and Application Security. This person will be responsible for current and long-range strategies aimed at securing connected car solutions while adding to the stability and efficiency of connected car systems. They must promote proactive design strategies, the creation of complete infrastructure solutions, and develop the building blocks for securing connected car infrastructure solutions. They are also responsible for providing technical advice, guidance and design reviews on the development of secure connected car infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have outstanding security design analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for a motivated and talented security professional to join our team to evaluate and consult on Secure-By-Design related architectures. We collaborate extensively within FCA and with external partners, thus we require exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Evaluate IT systems, appliances, and devices being proposed for use within the environment and their ability to meet FCA security requirements, recommending mitigating controls for identified limitations and risks
Provide design and management of architectures required to support PKI and Trust services for internal and external deployments.
Work closely with the other ICT Enterprise Architects, PD, and safety teams to ensure security requirements are addressed in all phases of project lifecycles
Assist in identifying and assessing risk as part of the overall Risk Management process
Testing of the implemented architecture model
Participate in technical incident management and troubleshooting as needed.
Definition and implementation of specific countermeasures and security tools
Execute continuous benchmark towards market and other manufacturers, including participation in industry connected vehicle security groups
Understand how standard ICT security approaches, processes, countermeasures and tools can cross-over to connected vehicle security platform advancement, and vice versa
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or relevant discipline
Minimum 10 years of Information Technology experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading teams and direct reports
Ability to organize activities and lead others in accomplishing goals and objectives in a fast moving environment
Security certification(s) (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, and/or GSEC)
Familiarity with in-vehicle network architecture, modules, and protocols (CAN etc.)
Demonstrated design /leadership experience for implementing secure infrastructure solutions supporting vehicle communications
Penetration testing and tools experience
PKI design and implementation experience
