Position Summary:

Global Procurement is looking for a highly motivated Global Inventory Manager to join the team. This key role within Procurement will lead efforts to establish a robust non-commodity inventory program across spare parts inventories globally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Procurement and BU leaders to develop a global rollout and implementation strategy for spare parts inventories (non-commodity)

  • Work with the Global Process Owner for Source-to-Pay to develop standard processes and policies related to inventory; such as the reorder process, standard methodologies for min/max/EOQ, standards for what should be inventoried, overmax / sharing inventory across ADM locations, among other

  • Partner with the Procurement Data team to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations on the Microsoft Power BI platform to support global inventory strategy

  • Lead team of inventory analysts to conduct site visits, identify items, setup and train location colleagues on use of barcode printers and handhelds, inventory upload, among other inventory "best practices"

  • Provide robust analytics and reporting for Procurement and BU leadership

  • Develop strategies to optimize inventories and reduce working capital

  • Work with Procurement and IT to support decisions related to EAM implementations, system changes or other with impact to inventory

  • Align inventory strategy to BU targets around asset management

  • Partner with IT and drive strategy for software and hardware required to enable inventory results (printers, handhelds, software SYCLO)

  • Develop standard processes, checklists and KPIs for inventory deployments

  • Partner with the strategic sourcing team to support efforts while on-site around vendor managed inventory, consignment, inventory buy-back, demand management and other

  • Develop process for maximizing value from un-needed inventory (consume sell scrap)

  • This role will serve as the "Global Data Steward" for Products (items non-commodity) and will be responsible for driving the standards and processes related to ADM's global unified catalog

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant job experience required

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain preferred

  • General knowledge of ADM's business units

  • Ability to work in a quickly changing environment with tight deadlines

  • Create a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
