Job Function: Information Systems (40000064)
This individual will support our security awareness and education program. Ultimately this person's role is to reduce risk to our organization by ensuring all employees, staff and contractors know, understand and follow our security requirements and behave in a secure manner. You will gain experience working with GIS and business leaders and an opportunity to institutionalize and manage processes that will create a long term legacy of Trust for our employees and customers aligned with Whirlpool's Mission.
Support security compliance program
Administer, manage, and support 3rd party risk management platform
Assist in security evaluations of 3rd party suppliers
Embed 3rd party risk due diligence requirements globally
Support Virtual Private Network (VPN) security onboarding process
Support security awareness program to meet all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
Support and maintain a security awareness program that effectively changes behaviors so our employees act in a secure manner, reducing the most risk to our organization.
Utilize continuous improvement techniques to streamline and enhance security processes
Create a global metrics framework that can effectively measure security requirements
Assist regional security lead engagement across Whirlpool's global landscape
Minimal travel required
Ability to form complex communications / messages in a simple, clear and concise manner to the various communities within our organization. This can include different cultures, nationalities, international locations and languages.
Project management experience, the ability to plan, manage and maintain a complex, organization wide program.
Ability to communicate with and coordinate the activities of internal and external resources.
Understand the concepts of information risks and the different elements that make up risk.
Possess basic knowledge of concepts related to information security and data privacy.
Bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience and training - GPA 3.0/4.0

PMP Certification is a plus
CompTIA Security+ is a plus
Agile project management methodology knowledge and experience is a plus
Experience in major technology platforms is a plus (ServiceNow, Archer GRC, SAP)
