We are searching for a Global Human Resources Director that understands how cultivating a talent mind-set drives successful business outcomes. The Global Human Resources Director is a true HR Generalist role directing all activities in support of three global business functions. These global functions include Commercial, Research and Development and Operations. This is a highly visible HR Generalist role that partners closely with HR shared services and business leaders to support all phases of the annual employee life cycle and their strategic agendas.

Areas of impact will include those focused around talent new hire onboarding, performance management, workforce and succession planning, rewards, recognition, employee development and engagement. This is a hands-on global leadership role, with the opportunity to impact our three-year People Strategy in support of a growing business.

What will you be doing?

  • Talent

  • Establish and drive a Talent Rhythm across the global functions.

  • Surface new ideas to embed talent as a key differentiator including workforce/succession planning.

  • Prioritize the Global HR Three-Year Roadmap.

  • Continue to embed the Verathon 7 values and Verathon 12 Leadership Behaviors as a key cultural differentiator in our talent practices.

  • Business Partnering

  • Cultivate a true human capital consulting partnership with global business leaders to drive the annual employee life cycle.

  • Pro-actively participate in business partner discussions and provides pragmatic guidance.

  • Ensures appropriate HR shared services partners are kept apprised of global business issues.

  • Coaches at all levels to ensure understanding and collaboration.

  • Rewards

  • Assist in developing the Company's global compensation structure and philosophy.

  • Facilitate compensation benchmarking as needed to support business needs and partner with HR Shared Services to support the global functions.

  • Engagement

  • Coaches leaders on Verathon's Employee Engagement Actions and assists leaders in identifying opportunities to improve.

  • Organizational Development

  • Utilize organizational diagnostic techniques to facilitate effective continuous improvement.

  • Assist the HR Leadership Team in developing and executing against the Verathon People Strategy.

  • Annual travel at approximately 15%.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Four-year degree is required; with additional certifications and/or graduate level coursework preferred.

  • 12 years of progressive HR experience in a multi-national organization.

  • At least four years of experience at the Senior Manager or above level in a fast-paced organization.

  • Ability to demonstrate the Verathon 7 Values and 12 Leadership Behaviors.

  • Medical industry experience is a plus. We're passionate about healthcare, you should be too.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of US employment laws. Experience working with multiple state employment laws is preferred.

  • Exposure to international regulations is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office suite is required.

  • A strong sense of humor and passion for Human Resources is a must.

  • Able to work core business hours and overtime as necessary.

VIEW JOBS 11/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-18T00:00 Verathon ® is seeking a Global Marketing Program Manager to lead marketing initiatives for the Respiratory & Surgical Solutions (RSS) business. The individual will be primarily responsible for downstream marketing activities: worldwide product promotion, positioning, planning and execution of product launch and other marketing campaigns. The Global Marketing Program Manager reports to the Director of Global Marketing, and will be based at our headquarters in Bothell, WA. Working with the Product Marketing team, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing the worldwide marketing communications strategy for their assigned product portfolio. The individual represents the market, customer and business needs in order to ensure successful commercialization and achievement of the business plan for their products. They must also be capable of leading cross functional teams to execute successful marketing programs. In addition to Product Marketing, this role also works with geography-based marketing team members to develop and execute marketing programs helping drive global sales. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute the integrated global marketing plan for communications and campaigns to support the RSS business unit new product introductions, sustained lead generation and database growth. * Collaborate with the business units, global marketing, and regional marketing teams to execute the marketing plan(s). * Program and project management for assigned product launches, segments, and campaigns. * Drive creative projects and content development with creative/production team and agencies. * Understand the customer journey and make content recommendations based on the goals. * Work within a cross functional team to move strategy to action, achieve ROI and associated monthly metrics. * Driving continuous improvement in execution and growth in results. Analyze campaign effectiveness and in collaboration with the business unit advise and drive for improvements when needed. * Develop sales tools (literature, brochures, website, etc.), training materials, and field and customer communications working with the Product Marketing team. * Responsible for product brand strategy. * Assist with developing and managing marketing budgets for assigned products. * Assist with other marketing projects and responsibilities as directed. Desirable Skills and Traits: * Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred * 5+ years Marketing Management and/or Product Management experience in the medical or high-tech B to B industries, preferably at the global level. * Previous experience with surgical products, respiratory products, or intensive care unit products a plus. * Previous experience with ultra sound POC products, or products used in the urology clinical field are a plus. * Experienced in marketing through both direct sales teams and indirect sales channels. * Hands-on integrated marketing planning and execution experience * Experienced with current best practices for digital marketing, social marketing strategies, marketing automation and online and offline events. * Experience with hands on creative and message development. * Experience managing an annual budget more than $500k. * Experience directing media vendors and creative agencies. * Capable hands-on program and project management, detail orientated, able to deliver quickly on commitments. * Strong initiative, high energy level, and positive attitude. * Ability to work cohesively in a team or as an individual contributor. * Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Confident communicator able to develop and present the results of activities and programs. * Strong leadership capability.
