THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
DuPont currently has an opening in the Safety & Construction business for a Global HR Leader partnering closely with the Water Filtration and Strategy, Growth & Ventures organizations. The Safety & Construction business is a global leader with strong portfolios including high-performance fibers and foams, aramid papers, non-woven structures, membranes and filtration technologies, and protective garments along with well-known brands like Kevlar,Nomex, Tyvek, Styrofoam, Corian and Great Stuff to create industry-setting solutions that protect, shelter and enhance lives.
The Water Filtration business is the global leader in water filtration space with $1 bn. in revenue, and 1700 employees across the world. This business has a number of manufacturing sites such as Edina, MN, US; Midland, MI US; Chauny, France; Fambio, Italy: Qimpu and Huzhou; China, Soma, Japan and Saudi Arabia. The global water technology center is at Tarragona, Spain. Smaller technology centers are located at Collegeville, PA, US and Shanghai, China. Over 50% of revenue comes from Asia Pacific. EMEA and NA are of similar size represents 45% of the business. Latin American is a smaller region contributing 5%.
Strategy, Growth & Ventures:
Global Strategy, Growth & Ventures (SG&V) is focused on developing the overall business segment strategy and driving key initiatives to enable growth beyond the core S&C businesses. It's comprised of a distributed, multi-expertise / multi-functional team of approximately 25, senior level professionals focused on incubation business ventures, organic and inorganic growth strategy and the development and deployment of innovation tools and processes to improve business operations.
In this role you will be:
A strategic partner to the business leaders for the Water Filtration and SG&V businesses leadership teams leading human capital imperatives to drive business value in alignment with DuPont Safety & Construction strategy.
Accountable for the effectiveness of all HR activities across supported organizations. In alignment with the Safety & Construction Global HR Business Leader, working closely with Water Filtration & SG&V Leadership to identify and validate HR needs to achieve strategic objectives for the business.

Champions the deployment of standard HR processes across the Line of Businesses (LOBs) they support
Understands and monitors effectiveness of HR programs through use of metrics and HR analytics in a way that drives manufacturing performance
Accountable for the deployment and effectiveness of all talent management and talent development processes globally for their LOBs
Maintains awareness and knowledge of full range of contemporary HR theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation translating and converting HR concepts and theory into systems solutions for enhanced employee performance and business success
Provides direct consultative and strategic partnering and coaching to the global Water Filtration & SG&V leadership teams to maximize performance of the commercial and manufacturing organizations
Collaborates with Safety & Construction HR Business Partners, the Regional HR Directors and the local country HR Business Partners for effective deployment of HR programs and initiatives globally
Collaborates with COE's for maximum effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
HR Process Responsibilities:
Leads the global LOB talent management and global talent development processes for Safety & Construction. (Organization Leadership Review, ALDP and Strategic Workforce Planning)
Leads implementation of engagement survey processes and action planning processes
Leads organization design efforts as required
Leads workforce planning and supports the talent acquisition processes including on-boarding and new employee orientation
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
Openness to international travel 50%. (80% of the Water business is outside of the continental United States and most future growth is in emerging markets)
Strong leadership skills and experiences
Proven performance in driving Employee Alignment and Engagement
Broad experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives and creating organizational capabilities

Experience of working with a global team, particularly focused on emerging regions growth
