Position Overview
The Global Head of Logistics ERP Delivery, will represent the Global Logistics organization on the ERP implementation, providing vision & leadership to the function and ERP program interface to the Logistics Transformation Project (LTP). The role, will ensure successful delivery of the transformation through functional design, managing blockers, system configuration, data collection, testing, training & hyper care. Imperative to the success of the project will be the ability to work cross functionally in a global, fast paced environment with a variety of internal teams & external vendors. Additional accountabilities include project management activities, managing a project team consisting of internal & external resources, and Logistics vendors ensuring successful delivery in a cost-effective way.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, document and understand global business requirements related to ERP Logistics functionality including business required regional differences and interfaces to LTP
Lead cross-functional project team resources to collaborate with technology partners to be responsible for understanding requirements, designing, building Functional Specifications, and testing / deployments that are run in a complex ERP environment with heavy volume of transactions.
Support concurrent Logistics Transformation Project and plan Logistics ERP roadmap; provide leadership and guidance to global project teams for planning, building, and delivery.
Communicate regularly with Steering Committee, project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration.
Assess the change management impact on the user community and ensure impacted users receive the necessary training, communication & documentation to ensure business continuity.
Responsible for end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance, through both execution and coordination of required test resources across the Logistics team. Ensure thorough testing of ERP solutions, troubleshoot issues and implement timely resolutions.
Oversee the project management functions related to the ERP Logistics workstream. This includes establishing and maintaining standards along with processes for project management, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Responsible for project planning, risk management, and reporting to senior management on project status and performance
Collaborate with other ERP functional and technology teams to map end-to-end scenarios
Ensure the success of the ERP project by actively contributing to the total project, meeting project deadlines & adapting to evolving requirements
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the global ERP solutions, ensuring clarity and knowledge transfer within the team.
Independently and collaboratively lead workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.
Initiate activities to improve quality and delivery speed across the organization.
Become the ERP functional authority within the Global Logistics organization.
Lead, debate, and communicate with key decision makers internally and externally; serve as mentor to logistics & project team members
Exercise latitude in determining approaches to critical assignments; work on issues that impact future strategic business and technology leads
Maintain and use contacts throughout the organization, industry, and other professional organizations to improve the ERP.
Define and track support metrics, including KPI's and dashboards.
Oversee the functional delivery and overall support of ERP including resource management.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Supply chain/Logistics operational experience required, with a heavy focus on information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline and project management
Expertise in software delivery best practices
Proven ERP Supply Chain experience
Customization and configuration expertise
Testing and troubleshooting proficiency
Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners
Ability to travel globally, based on project requirements
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across various time zones (i.e. Europe/Middle East, Asia, Americas)
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Working knowledge of SharePoint
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
Ability to deliver technical expertise

Cross-functional collaboration experience
Must have the ability to question the status quo
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Experience with an international development organization preferred
Project management certification preferred
