We are looking for a Global Head of Climate M/F. You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Your team?
To fully embed Sustainability in Pernod Ricard's business operations, the Sustainable Business team is catalyzing the creation and implementation of actionable sustainability strategies. Among others key pillars of the group sustainability strategy, climate change mitigation & adaptation roadmaps are critical to sustain Pernod Ricard's business.
As the Global Head of Climate, you will report to the Climate & Nature Director and will play a pivotal role in advancing Pernod Ricard's climate strategy. You will therefore be responsible for developing strong expertise, tools and data, and implementing comprehensive roadmaps that will ensure the achievement of Net Zero targets.
Your key missions?
You will manage the global Climate strategy in order to deliver the targets
You will oversee and consolidate the global Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net Zero journey by ensuring the right balance between local and global targets as well as their achievements
You will update regularly future climate scenarios analysis in order to adjust business decisions
You will strenghthen the Group expertise on climate topics
You will act as global center of excellence, serving both HQ and affiliates, on climate
You will develop and maintain advanced knowledge on climate change impacts and GHG emissions accountability
You will identify, analyze and challenge innovative solutions in order to feed the climate strategy
You will drive Group leadership on Climate engagement through leading positions and public interventions
You will ensure emissions measurement & projection
You will oversee the development of robust systems for measuring and reporting on Scope 1, 2, and 3 (Forest Land Agriculture-FLAG & Non-FLAG) carbon emissions
You will utilize industry-leading methodologies and tools to ensure accuracy and transparency in carbon reporting, adhering to industry standards and regulations
You will develop guidance, trainings and capabilities to ensure teams are equipped to deliver the roadmaps
You will support roadmaps implementation and manage performance
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to help them design and implement the carbon strategy
You will monitor implementation, measure, analyze and report progress to the Top management and external stakeholders
You will create and manage a cross-functional ecosystem to take decision and drive results
You will embed the climate strategy at a high strategic level in the organization
You will ensure a close collaboration with the Procurement function at all levels (HQ and affiliates), as well as with other functions involved (Operations, legal, Marketing…) to shape common ways to deliver our ambition
You will manage a panel of external stakeholders to challenge and advise our strategy

You have 10+ years of experience in a similar position; experience in the Food & Beverage sector is a plus
You have a strong understanding of GHG accounting methodologies and standards
You are able to develop & implement successful carbon reduction strategies
You have excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
You are able to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within a global organization
You speak both English & French fluently
