As we continue our growth and market leadership, Calabrio is expanding its marketing leadership team. We are seeking a Global Head of Business Development to lead a core marketing and demand generation function that includes account analysis, account-based targeting, conversion of inbound leads to qualified sales opportunities, and outbound demand generation leading to qualified sales opportunities. This role will manage a global team, with manager-level direct reports in the US and UK.
Our Global Head of Business Development will also develop a global training function, or BDR Academy. Reporting to Calabrios chief marketing officer, this role will be a key member of the marketing leadership team and will work closely with peers leading our Core Marketing, Product Marketing and Partner Management functions.
The ideal candidate has 10 or more years of experience leading marketing, business development, or sales functions and experience leading global teams of 25-75 people. We are seeking someone with direct experience working with BDR or SDR teams, recruiting and developing high performing teams, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, high growth environment. In addition to top tier business development skills, were also looking for a world-class leader with a passion for getting the most from their teams.
Given the high profile of this position within the company, the ideal candidate must have a strong executive presence, the ability to collaborate across functions, and exceptional communications skills.
