Responsibilities

  • Provide office services pertaining to the general office appearance, coordinating with building management regarding cleaning and repairs, greeting visitors at reception area, and answering phones

  • Prepare engagement correspondence, enter client and projection information into STAR, run conflict checks, review reports for grammar and formatting

  • Provide advanced administrative services data entry, production, mailing, document downloads, inventory and organization of job information

  • Examine and analyze accounting records; prepare complex accounting, present statements and reports to client, provide analysis and consultation

  • Manage client relationship

  • Act as liaison to address client issues

  • Meet client service expectations through adhering to time budgets and maintaining positive client communications

  • Assist team leader in researching and providing additional services to client

  • Adheres to time budgets and maintaining a positive client communication

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred

  • Minimum of 0-2 years of prior general bookkeeping, accounting and tax experience, required

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, and tax preparation software, required

  • Excellent customer service and client focused skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication a must

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with all levels

  • Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills; ability to effectively prioritize obligations based on importance

  • Self-starter with initiative. Ability to work independently (with ovetime) when necessary

  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and respect within a prfoessional environment. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and use discretion in preserving confidentiality, where appropriate

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail

Baker Tilly Annual Report 2018 Responsibilities The Paraprofessional is responsible for the smooth, effective and efficient day-to-day administration and operation of the office. This position will also provide general support to the office by carrying out client related tasks. JOB FILE RELATED TASKS: * Enter client and job information into Baker Tilly systems * Enter client and project information into STAR * Run reports as needed * Archive files and destroy documents * Review reports for grammar and formatting * Data entry, production, mailing, document downloads, inventory, and organization of job information * Meet client service expectations through adhering to time budgets and maintaining positive client communications * Communicate interactively with engagement team members * Review and evaluate client work and assign, as appropriate * Prepare engagement correspondence * Will organize and index litigation binders, maintain and manage flow of documents for litigation cases * Organize, copy, scan and set up files, run conflict checks and prepare engagement letters * Assist with Marketing and Business Development projects/events * Other tasks as assigned GENERAL: * Greet visitors at reception area * Answer phones * Office services – office supply ordering and maintenance of copiers, printers, etc. * Maintain general office appearance, coordinate with building management regarding cleaning and repairs * Consistently promote a professional image of the firm at all times * Maintain the confidentiality of Baker Tilly and its clients * Act with the highest business ethics * Perform other duties as requested or assigned Qualifications The successful candidate will have: * Minimum of 3 years' experience in office management * Associates degree required, Bachelors Degree; preferred * Ability to use and operate a wide variety of office automation equipment and related software, including spreadsheet applications, database management, record storage and retrieval systems, and word processing * Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize and solve practical problems Baker Tilly is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
