Position Overview:

Support the Finance workstream by providing baseline support to ensure compliance on equity transactions as well as provide support for any inquiries that relate to tax reporting, tax remittance, payroll reporting, Merrill Lynch systems, etc. This includes (but not limited to): analysis of financial data by applying knowledge of Company Tax Policies and Equity Plan rules to ensure adherence to global tax and reporting standards, recalculating income reportable and tax liability, review & reconciliation of international wage statements, review of Merrill Lynch account activity, analysis of data issues in different systems, perform audits of system data, etc. Work experience in Accounting or Taxation required. Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills as there is potential to impact compensation for participants.

Function Specific Activities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform post settlement corrections for equity transactions that have settled incorrectly. Perform reconciliation between reportable and tax withholding amounts and work with Corporate Accounting to ensure process is completed accurately. Update payroll reporting, and refund or collect taxes from impacted equity participants.

  • Support all inquiries via Salesforce queue and ensure timely resolution within the designated SLA. The types of inquires include: ensure adherence to global tax and reporting standards, explanation of tax policy to equity participants, recalculate tax withholding and reporting for global jurisdictions, review & reconciliation of international wage statements, review of Merrill Lynch account activity, analysis of data issues in different systems, perform audits of system data, etc.

  • Manage process for local equity refunds that get sent to Corporate from global payroll locations. Responsible for working with global payrolls and reconciling equity financial data to ensure timely and accurate refund to the impacted participant.

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Corporate Accounting, US and Global Payrolls, Corporate Tax, Treasury) for post settlement corrections as well as other cases assigned and provide ad-hoc reporting support when needed by stakeholders.

  • Provide support to the Finance Lead in relation to the equity grant process (creating/auditing grant files, providing reports to stakeholders, tracking grant acceptance, drafting communication, etc).

  • Perform daily audits of the access holders in the ML I Report tool and resolve issues as necessary and train as a back up for quarterly access audits of all systems owned/managed by Global Equity.



  • University/Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years related work experience in Accounting Corporate environment

  • Experience in Accounts Reconciliations

  • Experience in Tax

  • Equity knowledge will be a plus

What you'll do * Responsible for end to end service delivery of international and domestic assignments and moves, including the management of relocation and tax in conjunction with vendor partners * Update and refresh the global mobility policy and program guidelines ensuring industry competitiveness and compliance with legal, tax, and local employment regulations * Work closely with Mobility colleagues globally to identify efficiencies, recommend strategies, and ensure alignment between the relocation, tax and immigration programs. * Coordinate mobility due-diligence process with internal partners (corporate tax, immigration, expense team, etc) and third party vendors (tax, relocation), including cost projection calculations, tax impact assessment and compliance requirements analysis * Provide strategic leadership and consulting on executive moves including structuring international and domestic assignment packages and relocations * Draft relocation agreements and international assignment letters of understanding that adhere to Adobe Global Mobility policies and administer the various complexities of international assignments including year-end compensation accumulation, delivery of allowances and proper payroll tracking and reporting. * Research and update financial controllers on costs incurred to date and final cost projections for permanent relocations and ongoing assignments. * Partner with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve mobility programs and processes as well as developing creative solutions to meet immediate and long term strategic objectives * Oversee and manage key relationships with vendors, ensuring that agreed service levels are attained or exceeded and ensure continual assessment of all global mobility vendors, processes and policies to ensure an optimal experience for employees, managers and the Global Mobility team * Provide strategic direction and consulting on global mobility matters to HR Business Partners, Talent Selection Partners, Employee Experience team members and business units * Offer structure for internal partners and the business to learn about global mobility programs and policies and where to find guidance and support for immigration * Maintain an awareness of marketplace global mobility & relocation trends and best practices for domestic and international moves.
