Director, Global Supply Chain

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

Lead global activities for the extended Supply Chain including Logistics to create a coherent strategy, develop standard processes and drive continuous improvement towards world class performance. Optimize the total cost of ownership, resolve global supply chain issues and align master schedules to fulfill customer demand. This position will lead, mentor, and coach the Supply Chain Managers and Logistics warehouses in best practices to improve key performance indicators for production plan adherence, on-time delivery, freight and inventory management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Strategy

  • Develop a harmonized and highly competitive Supply chain which is built on end to end value stream orientation, lean principles and the total cost of ownership

  • Define a coherent global Supply Chain strategy including Logistics to achieve breakthrough objectives

  • Develop and lead the Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) process to drive attainment of delivery, revenue, and inventory targets

  • Monitor global supply planning and forecasting of demand to ensure resource requirements are met.

  • Manage supply of critical materials to all locations to ensure supply through accurate, real-time inventory management and continuous tracking

  • Maintain accurate forecast models for inventory based upon incoming receipts and shipments

  • Ensure all suppliers are compliant with local and international regulatory and import/export requirements

  • Manage Supply Chain throughout the entire product life cycle to prevent obsolete inventory from engineering changes and the End of Production life cycle

  • Coordinate physical inventory and cycle counting processes with global locations and finance team

  • Accountable for Advance Ship Notices (ASN) to customers

  • Incorporate total cost of ownership and logistical aspects in the Request for Quote process

  • Support safe launch plans and product transfers

OTHER CORE FUNCTIONS

Standardization

  • Develop and deploy standard Supply Chain business processes based upon best practices

  • Incorporate standard processes for Logistics based upon lean principles and practices

Continuous improvement

  • Optimize Supply Chain business processes including Master Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to meet customer demand while reducing inventory and freight.

  • Accommodate variability, align logistics, and forecast demand planning and sourcing to ensure minimum financial impact and uninterrupted manufacturing operations workflow.

  • Develop and implement business process improvements utilizing enterprise software and MRP

  • Coordinate / support training of our employees in all Supply Chain aspects and ensure creation / maintaining of relevant training documents

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant Supply Chain, international logistics, master scheduling and planning for production in the Automotive industry.

  • Multi-site global experience

  • Comprehensive data analytics to develop trends and insights to make informed decisions considering the Total Cost of Ownership

  • Profound knowledge of Supply Chain principles and practices utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

  • Master Scheduling, Planning, Inventory Control and Global Logistics

  • Technical application experience with SAP preferred

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Automotive Supply Chain and life cycle

  • International distribution experience with a solid understanding of trade compliance and cross-border administrative processes

  • Business fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Global Director, Talent Management The Director, Talent Management will design, develop and deliver organizational talent management initiatives to drive Gentherm's performance and growth by working with Senior Leadership and HR Business Partners. This includes a variety of key organizational processes in areas such as performance management, succession planning, change management, capability building, career development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, organizational development, training and facilitation. This individual will also oversee Gentherm's Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence which includes senior leader recruiting activities and oversight and harmonization of key hiring processes globally. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with the CHRO, business leaders, HR business partners and other stakeholders to assess training and development needs and to deliver appropriate, high quality, consistent and cost-effective programs that align with business objectives and Gentherm's People strategy. * Drive consulting projects with internal clients that include conducting needs analysis, assessing gaps, and providing solutions that address needs, especially as it refers to culture and engagement. * Design, deliver and sustain talent management programs addressing engagement, performance and career management, training, leadership development, succession planning, etc. * Provide client-facing internal talent and OD consultation to CHRO and business leaders. * Deliver assessment feedback and coaching services to leaders. * Assume lead role in developing a high-impact leadership development program for leaders and high potentials. * Partner with Global Systems Administrator to manage HCM configuration to evaluate performance and drive a continuous-coaching-and-feedback culture. * Support other Human Resource initiatives as needed by bringing design thinking and thought leadership to drive employee engagement and performance results aligned with enterprise strategy. * Lead enterprise wide standardization of change management process and execution. Support HR Business Partners to consistently execute change management processes in all company locations. * Create and manage project plans and communications to ensure the execution of Talent Management initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field * Minimum of ten years related experience, of which at least three must have been in a management position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience leading a full Talent agenda for a region of a large corporation or a small to mid-sized company.
