3M is seeking a Global Demand Generation Lead for the Personal Safety Division (PSD) located in Maplewood, MN. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. Here, you go.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Co-creating and implementing yearly Strategic Plans (part of PSD Content and Demand Generation Strategy) Managing the process of PSD Activations development for the given vertical and NPI Executing chosen Integrated Activations in USA and supporting execution Internationally, creating Global PSD toolkits dedicated for 40+ countries across Global Cooperation with the global team, confirming key messages and consistency of assets in line with the PSD strategy Close cooperation with Area BDM's and Area DRC; Creating Global PSD campaign toolkits including:
Cooperation with Local Digital Leaders (~12) and local business teams from 12 countries, Area Content and Demand Generation Managers supporting them in local adaptations; Cooperation with the Global Product Teams, Global Vertical Teams, Global Product Content Team, Global Digital Team and eCommerce team (all located in place) to create & provide complex multi-level solutions incl. campaign assets, websites, channel activation support, marketing automation campaigns; Coordination of Marketing Automation projects, ideation of campaign architecture; Cooperation with agencies, media houses, 3rd party partners, providers, managing the process; Know-how sharing within the Global and to local countries in digital marketing, marketing automation; PSD expertise; Taking responsibility for activation and always-on KPI's in THE GIVEN VERTICAL, optimizing key metrics to reach these KPI's (in communication) at the USA level.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience in a product-oriented and consumer/customer-driven role in a private, public, government or military environment
Experience assisting with the creation of a rolling marketing plan tied to business plan.
Three (3) or more years of experience in media buying and optimization cross channel with the focus on digital, ideally from FMCG)
Three (3) or more years of experience in team management
Proven experience solving and communicating complex marketing strategies to cross-functional teams. Must be able to organize large amounts of information and track and meet many competing deadlines.
Experience utilizing your understanding of business objectives and assisting in the development of strategy and communication of market direction.
Experience tracking metrics to evaluate effectiveness in reaching target consumers. Must have used consumer research and business analysis to understand the competition, channel dynamics, consumer/customer segmentation & positioning, product segmentation and sales performance in the past.
Experience writing creative briefs.
Proven ability to track and manage brand budgets.
