Global Corporate Strategy is responsible for guiding the overall strategy of Bank of America, driving ongoing strategic dialog with senior management and the Board of Directors, as well as ensuring close coordination with Bank of America's eight lines of business to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives, M&A and other strategic transactions.
An analyst in this role will be simultaneously responsible for:
Partnering with lines of business to evaluate new and existing strategic opportunities
Developing clear, concise and Board-ready materials related to valuation, operating performance, sector analysis, strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, or other company analysis
Enhancing processes around routine Management Team and Board deliverables
Self-starting analysis on a multitude of topics, including but not limited to: businesses, peers, products, regions and disruption
Additional various routines and time sensitive ad hoc deliverables
This opportunity requires an individual to be a self-starter, have a high attention to detail, business/financial acumen and knowledge of Bank of America's multiple businesses and financial drivers.
BS/BA Finance, Accounting, Economics
2 4 years of relevant financial analysis and financial reporting experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Data Manipulation
Ability to work self directed on multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously
Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau)
Strong knowledge of SAP/eLedger
Analytical Abilities/Financial Acumen/Problem Solving
Enterprise Role Overview:
Responsible for the development and coordination of the bank planning activities. Conducts complex analysis in creating strategic, growth, diversification, and financial plans. May also provide analysis on possible mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
