Sherpa exclusive! A mid-sized, Charlotte-based, global contract manufacturer specializing in packaging solutions is building their Corporate team in anticipation of near-term growth through acquisitions. This is a newly created position reports to an outstanding CFO, will include a nice mix of strategic and tactical responsibilities and will provide you with the opportunity to optimize processes throughout the organization while developing a scalable function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the centralization of all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, treasury, and internal controls.

• Lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transition and alignment with company standards.

• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.

Absolute Requirements

• BS in Accounting and CPA

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience

• 3+ years of Big 4, national or large regional CPA firm experience, preferably in assurance

• recent corporate accounting and finance leadership roles within a global organization, prepared to take on a leadership role.

• Experience in manufacturing and private equity portfolio companies is a strong preference.
