Overview

Global Compensation Manager/Sr Manager The Global Compensation Manager will be responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of compensation programs that align with Insmed's business and talent strategy. You will work closely with key stakeholders providing guidance and support as it relates to global compensation programs and processes. You should have strong analytical, communication and project management skills to support complex global projects from launch through completion.

Responsibilities

Global Compensation Manager/Sr ManagerThe Global Compensation Manager will be responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of compensation programs that align with Insmed's business and talent strategy. You will work closely with key stakeholders providing guidance and support as it relates to global compensation programs and processes. You should have strong analytical, communication and project management skills to support complex global projects from launch through completion. ResponsibilitiesThe Global Compensation Manager will help drive the development, implementation and communication of compensation programs and processes that support the company's compensation philosophy, pay equity and pay transparency.Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive compensation initiatives related to merit, annual and long-term incentive planning and execution

  • Lead the selection and ongoing management of compensation benchmarking surveys

  • Lead the design and maintenance of global salary structures

  • Lead the annual compensation review process

  • Partner with Global HR team to conduct market assessments as required, ensuring global pay practices are competitive within the industry, compliant with all government requirements, and consider internal equity.

  • Act as a consultant to the business and People Team on issues related to compensation, including offers, promotions and market adjustments

  • Contribute to development and execution of employee communications and education on the organization's various compensation opportunities globally.

  • Partner with HR Operations team to ensure data integrity

  • Manage ad-hoc compensation analyses and process development

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of progressive HR experience, inclusive of compensation benchmarking and analysis, structure design and management of global compensation processes

  • Knowledge and experience of compensation discipline and best practices

  • Proficient in data analysis and market research; strong quantitative, statistical, analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate course of action

  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly to many different audiences inclusive of senior leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and prioritize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to handle compensation employee data with complete confidentiality and utmost discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Global HR Experience, with an understanding of differing cultures, market practices, and regulatory environments

  • Experience developing and maintaining global compensation structures

  • Bio-tech / Life Sciences experience a plus

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel

Salary Range

Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees. The base salary range for this job is from $111,000.00 to $156,133.00 per year
