Global Category Manager/Executive Buyer - HR Services (Hire to Retire)
Sourcing professional experienced in developing and executing global category strategies and preparing, negotiating, managing and coordinating agreements for HR Services categories: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Relocation, Global Rewards (H&W Benefits), HRIS & Analytics, Outplacement etc.. Mentors and leads team of Subcategory Managers, and/or Category Buyers in the HR Services Tower. Leads the collaboration with business and functional leaders in the establishment and execution of procurement & value creation strategies. Leads supplier relationship management initiatives. Identifies and drives continuous improvement and TCO opportunities across tower. Oversees contract implementation and supplier performance/interaction; involved with resolving operational issues
Tasks & Responsibilities
Utilizing category management levers and practices to develop and implement global category strategies for HR Services (spend = ~$400M)
Demonstrate leadership in client engagement and partnerships with internal stakeholder communities to understand requirements and collaborate on solutions.
Lead supplier relationship management initiatives to drive delivery of best in class performance and innovative products and services.
Team lead for HR Services Global Category Team
Drive the use of traditional and advanced category strategies and sourcing tools to optimize the procurement process and add value.
Negotiate and deliver cost savings to meet business & functional requirements and procurement organization objectives.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Extensive experience with and knowledge of categories
Strong knowledge of sourcing best practices, policies and legal contracting
Strategic thinking capability and extensive negotiations experience
Strong influence and communications skills
Strong leadership and team building skills
High ethical standards
BA / BS degree with preferred focus on Procurement, and/or equivalent work experience
10-15 years demonstrated procurement experience required
Knowledge of HR Services categories required: Talent Acquisition, Relocation, Talent Management, Global Rewards (H&W Benefits), HRIS & Analytics, Outplacement etc.
Experience in negotiating agreements/contracts with strong comprehension of legal and commercial terms and conditions
Experience in working with intellectual property & privacy concepts and contractual language
Previous leadership and/or management experienced preferred
Strong bias for decision-making rooted in data and analytics
Project management experience or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or certification must be obtained within the first 12-24 months)
CPSM certification preferred
