Veramaris is expanding access to sustainable Omega-3 that's rich in both EPA & DHA with the world's first ASC-MSC-certified microalgae oil for fish and shrimp feed. From our headquarters in Delft, Netherlands to our advanced production facility in Blair, Nebraska, we collaborate with value chain partners to support the entire seafood industry in both creating and capturing value.

Veramaris is a joint venture between DSM-Firmenich and Evonik.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage quality issues of products and processes to ensure Veramaris' quality objectives are achieved. Starting from product in the tank to customer arrival, resolving any quality issues that arise post production, e.g. during packaging, warehousing, transportation, and handling at the customers' site.

  • Understand customer expectations and needs, acting as main customer liaison for any quality-related customer requirements and concerns.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain quality risks, supporting supply chain design and set up.

  • Provides support to Sales and Operations on customer issues, questions and concerns.

  • Provide QA support and mentorship for innovation related activities such as product application studies, material qualifications, stability, validation, sales samples, and product launch activities.

  • Identify and ensure compliance with specific regulations and standards applicable to products based on category, market, and geographic location. This requires understanding local, national, and international requirements.

  • Conducting external audits of final product warehousing, and 3rd party tolling/packaging activities. Support

for sustaining ISO 9001, ISO/RC 14001, ASC-MSC and FAMI-QS registration.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Quality Management, ideally 8+ years or direct experience in edible oils industry.

  • Bachelor's or Master degree preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology or related science field.

  • Experience in facing customers preferred.

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and partnerships.

  • Possess and displays strong communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving skills.

  • Thrive in an ambiguous, fast paced and dynamic environment, eager and fast learner.

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly and internationally.Minimum onsite presence 1 day/week
