As the BD Enterprise Solutions Leader for Digital Marketing & Advertising, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a global strategy to help the industry ecosystem transform. Your responsibilities will be to develop, implement, and manage technical solution packages for go-to-market growth programs, drive sales enablement, and work with field teams to accelerate customer adoption, measure results, and evolve programs to meet AWS' customer needs effectively. You will work closely with the global enterprise and industry teams, and must be comfortable working with cross-functional global teams in dynamic organizations. The objective is to support the successful adoption of cloud technologies, coordinate amongst all critical stakeholders and ensure solution repeatability across the industry. The role will include helping articulate the technical strategy for AWS in the Digital Marketing & Advertising markets, especially with regards to machine learning, while identifying and engaging key strategic integration and solutions partners.
The right candidate will have successful marketing and advertising technology experience interacting at the highest levels of companies, technical or consulting background, and demonstrated experience in developing go-to-market programs. They will have a proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex solutions-led programs to meet business objectives, excellent program and project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a good understanding of industry ecosystems, and a passion for helping them transform using cloud technologies. They will have specific experience and knowledge of the operations, customer service, and IT processes in the largest Marketing firms. They will also have deep working knowledge of cloud computing and the related applications across industries.
Role & Responsibilities
Working backwards from customers, identify solutions themes, portfolio of solution(s) for each solution theme, and AWS value proposition(s) for the Digital Marketing & Advertising market. You will work closely and collaboratively with the industry business development leads, industry technical leads, and the wider industry teams across Amazon to ensure alignment to the industry strategy.
Together with the broader team, help develop the strategic plan for AWS, particularly the technical elements of the strategy and plan to engage customers and partners
Develop go-to-market plan for each solution area; including leveraging AWS field teams, technology and consulting partner channels, and self-service. GTM elements may include consultative workshops, solutions blueprints, customer proposal and offer development, internal and external collateral, POCs, incentives, target customers, and success measures, etc.
Ensure that the broader technical community (SAs, ProServe Consultants, TAMs, etc.) understand both the use cases and technology involved. Work with the Training and Sales Enablement teams to help develop the necessary technical skills and knowledge within the community, in order to help the team be effective in sales cycles.
Establish technical credibility in sales cycles (personally or with the broader technical team), and can credibly drive discussions with CMOs, CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, Senior Developers, etc. from both customers and partners.
Collaborate with the technical teams to realize solutions for each thematic solution area, including reference architectures, patterns, automation for one-click deployment, release plan, etc.
Deploy pilot and scale solutions-led growth programs in the field working with sales enablement, regional business development teams, and account teams.
Collaborate with marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
Manage solutions-led growth programs, assess performance, pivot and evolve programs based on observed data to improve programs efficacy and performance.
Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for insights into solutions-led growth programs.
Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further AWS solutions-led thought leadership in the industry domains
