To help us make the most of these opportunities, Avanade is looking for an experienced Global Alliance Marketing Manager to join the Global Alliance Marketing Team.In this important role you'll not only be an expert channel marketer but will make an impact on a unique alliance among the three companies.

Position purpose:

The Alliance Marketing Manager will support the strategic direction and lead the execution of global alliance marketing for Avanade, including partnering with our Microsoft and Accenture colleagues at a corporate level. This includes supporting Avanade's business and marketing priorities by bringing alliance marketing strategy to life internally and externally; developing Microsoft as a true channel for marketing; and collaborating with Accenture and Microsoft on our marketing plan implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop Microsoft as a Channel

  • Develop and implement joint GTM marketing priorities with Microsoft/AMBG across regions

  • Support the Areas in the development of demand generation campaigns jointly with Microsoft

  • Leverage and manage Microsoft alliance funding

Alliance Amplification

  • Ensure that the most effective use of Microsoft and Accenture is built into Avanade's marketing strategy

  • Position Avanade in Accenture, Microsoft and AMBG content and initiatives; ensure our visibility and inclusion

Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with Accenture, Avanade and MS marketing community to connect the dots and influence our alliance marketing execution

  • Partner with our Avanade Alliance business team

  • Monitor and execution our progress of FY22 Alliance Marketing Plan.

Co-Lead Avanade Alliance Marketing Center of Excellence

  • Develop consistent, shared mission, goals and actions for high impact among marketers with alliance responsibilities

  • Identify and drive sharing of best practices to help increase our share of mind within Accenture and Microsoft

Execution

  • Support the Microsoft Majors initiatives in events like Envision, Joint Activities/Campaigns, Internal Comms to MS

  • Lead and Manage Microsoft awards submissions, client story sharing and promotion, message development

  • Lead development of key alliance marketing content; drive sharing and amplification of that content internally and externally

  • Report to marketing and the business around alliance KPIs on a regular basis

The individual will report to the Global Alliance Marketing Director. This role will partner across the entire Avanade alliance and marketing team and with AMBG and Microsoft marketing teams.

Experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Leadership and stakeholder management; able to lead by influence and negotiate with people and teams at all levels

  • Tenacious and resilient, able to influence without authority to lead and thrive in a complex, matrixed environment organization.

  • Able to see the big picture and be strategic, but connect all the dots in a practical way; be able to prioritize and get the right things done

  • Highly collaborative, with experience working in and leading cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of field marketing operations within a professional services organization

  • Great at building and nurturing relationships, across marketing, the business and alliance partners

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing in a technology industry B2B environment. Preference will be given to candidates with previous channel or alliance management experience and experience working with Microsoft and Accenture.

  • Understanding of the business (Accenture, Avanade and Microsoft) and the marketing supply chain (corporate functions, areas, regions/field)

  • Flexibility to work with stakeholders in various time zones as needed

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with Microsoft collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, Visual Studio, etc.

We're looking for an experienced performance advertising and ad tech expert who is interested in joining our Media team within Facebook's Brand & Product Marketing organization. This role will be responsible for creating and supporting data-driven Marketing strategies by taking a leading position in our global Marketing privacy program. It will also guide performance channel investment strategies across the Facebook Family of Apps (Facebook Inc., Facebook Blue App, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp), collaborating with ad tech partners in delivering best-in-class solutions, elevating performance advertising partnerships, managing confidential data privacy and security reviews, and collaborating with our external agency. This person will bring thought leadership, best and next practices and recommendations for how and when to leverage all performance media platforms in ways that drive ROI for the company while considering data privacy. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, data-driven, professional, experienced in building and managing multi-stakeholder performance advertising programs, and can thrive in a fast-paced, scaled, often ambiguous, results-driven environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for leveraging data to understand scalable drivers of impact, and a strong interest and ability to work with privacy and Marketing partners to unlock data for usage across our advertising portfolio. They will have experience developing and implementing performance marketing strategies, solving complex problems through technical and analytical excellence, and project-managing multiple streams of work. Global Performance Marketing & Ad Tech Manager Responsibilities * Form close relationships with Brand & Product Marketing cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and our media agency in delivering significant, tangible value from portfolio-level performance advertising opportunities * Lead progressive, long-term performance media, privacy program, and ad tech roadmaps - manage outcomes, project scopes, and timelines with cross-functional partners drawing from deep technical experiences with DSPs, DMPs, data-onboarders, media measurement tools, investment models, targeting and optimization methods, algorithms, and automation software * Evangelize Marketing's privacy & ad tech program roadmaps and act as a driving force behind the work at all levels, across all functions and Marketing orgs, telling the story of privacy & ad tech within Brand & Product Marketing, and guiding prioritization through data and research * Manage strategic partnerships with external performance advertising and ad tech companies (Google, The Trade Desk, Neustar, etc.) toward fulfilling impactful outcomes on behalf of Brand & Product Marketing and the enterprise * Lead privacy-compliant technical implementations with Ad Tech partners, including Engineering, across advertising data integrations for producing measurement, targeting, and optimization of KPIs, and provide training and support for new tools * Partner with privacy teams in upholding and certifying Brand & Product Marketing's compliance with internal and external privacy obligations * Demonstrate impact of work through prioritization and delivery of fruitful and measurable outcomes, rapid iteration, partner and stakeholder feedback, and adapting to evolving business needs * Leverage experience working with creatives and media, both in house and agency, to consult on the design and measurement of world-class campaigns * Work well under pressure, with proven experience leading complex, global, large-scale, time-critical projects Minimum Qualifications * 6+ years experience in digital media, 4+ years experience leading planning and buying for large-scale biddable media campaigns * 2+ years of experience working within Ad Tech teams to develop data-driven tools for planning, managing, and reporting on campaigns * Experience working within analytics teams to develop and apply A/B testing plans for measuring lift-based performance of advertising, as well as leveraging incrementality-based data to optimize campaign performance and inform advertising strategy * Experience negotiating medium to large advertising buys (i.e. private marketplace, programmatic guaranteed, reserve, linear) directly with publishers and advertising sellers for multi-million dollar campaigns * Experience developing personalized advertising strategies that consider privacy restrictions * Experience managing mission-critical programs and rallying cross-functional partners to deliver on project outcomes and timelines * Communication, organization and program management experience Preferred Qualifications * Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field * Professional advertising experience at a media agency and a multinational brand * Experience managing global performance-based advertising campaigns * Experience developing media mix models, multi-touch attribution models, and/or algorithms * Technical knowledge of real-time-bidding advertising and demand side platforms * Experience using SQL to query databases for data-driven marketing insights * Experience collaborating with data privacy and legal partners Locations About the Facebook company Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
