FLEET TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Repairs and maintains school buses and school bus equipment.

  • Test drives repaired equipment.

  • Inspects and services vehicles

  • Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

FLEET TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Have a valid driver's license; CDL preferred (in-house training provided!)

  • Technical school training preferred

  • Previous Gas, Diesel, or Alternative Fuel experience

  • ASE Certifications strongly preferred

  • Subject to a background check and drug screen

You'll assist Sales Representatives with launching new applications in current customer and new accounts and in transitioning competitively-held accounts to Nalco Water. This position requires you to install, maintain and service water treatment equipment. Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * 1+ years of experience in water treatment * Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record * Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role Physical Demands: * Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions; * Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear; * Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam. * Be on a on call rotation.
