You will perform Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis on spatial and relational databases. You'll also support structure and infrastructure-centric analysis in support of customer requests for information in order to identify and exploit vulnerabilities and collection opportunities for future or on-going operations. This position is in support of the Facilities and Infrastructure Characterization and Analysis (FICA) Branch at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). Additionally, you'll work on a multi-intelligence fused team consisting of other all-source analysts, GEOINT, SIGINT, and Culture Language analysts, with TECH and Collection Management support.
Assists in compiling, structuring, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data in relational databases.
Applies foundational knowledge of geographic science and practical skills with ArcGIS Desktop to analyze data from a variety of sensor types and data formats.
Extracts features of interest from imagery using ArcGIS Desktop and/or SocetGXP. Conflates data from multiple sources to standardized database formats.
Produces digital map and graphic products, as well as geospatial data deliverables in geodatabase, shapefile, KML, and other formats.
Applies basic Python scripts or Modelbuilder models to automate data processing in ArcGIS Desktop. Performs technical writing to summarize key findings, geospatial metadata, and workflows.
Collaborates with diverse team members to understand requirements, share geospatial content, and produce multidisciplinary analysis.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent in geography, geospatial science, engineering, or a related field, with zero to two years of related experience.
