GI Technician

Pacific Endoscopy Center, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a per-diem Endoscopy Tech/GI Tech to join their amazing and caring team. About the Opportunity The GI Technician is responsible for the proper cleaning and high level disinfection and maintenance of all video endoscopes and other accessories used in the GI Endoscopy suites.

The individual hired is responsible for delegated patient care duties by assisting the physician and staff nurse during procedures as well as other duties/assignments expected within this role such as daily preventative maintenance, monitor record keeping for equipment that has been sterilized and/or high-level disinfected. About the Candidate Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Experience as a GI Tech/Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or sterile processing tech Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it prior to starting work Preferred Qualifications:
