GI Technician

Hawaii Endoscopy Center, located in Honolulu, HI., is looking for a per-diem GI Tech to join our amazing patient focused team. About the Opportunity Working Monday through Saturday, this individual will have a schedule between 6:30 am and 4:00 pm.

The center is closed on Sundays and major holidays. Join us for flexible shifts, working at least two days a month from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a focus on Fridays and opportunities within our Hawaii Float Pool. The GI Tech, reporting to the Center Manager, oversees the proper cleaning, high-level disinfection, and maintenance of video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites.

Responsibilities include adhering to CDC Infection Prevention and Control guidelines, assisting during procedures, and ensuring daily preventative maintenance and record-keeping for sterilized equipment. The role also involves contributing to the facility's mission by actively supporting its philosophy, goals, objectives, and values. This is a chance to take Medical Assistant or acute care sterile processing experience and transition into an outpatient setting.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
