Our client is seeking to add a Geotechnical Project Manager to their team in Houston, TX. The mission of the Project Manager is to assure client satisfaction through preparation of quality deliverables that address the specific project requirements and meets or exceeds client expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for achieving required project financial performance, performing project work per firm quality requirements, and sign/sealing the technical reports. They will manage value delivery, commitment management, and manage quality within the project. The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing proposals including detailed cost estimates, performing geotechnical engineering analysis and guiding junior staff to do so, tracking project expenses, and writing and submitting final reports to the client. The Project Manager may require up to 10% travel around Houston as needed. Required Skills & Experience

  • Active PE License

  • 7 years of geotechnical engineering analysis & design

  • Experience being the geotechnical engineer of record

  • Experience working in the public sector

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Masters degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
