Are you a Geotechnical Engineer seeking a challenging opportunity with a firm committed to our employees and providing excellence? S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Experienced Project Manager to join our Geotechnical team and be based in Memphis, Tennessee.

About The Role:

As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and progression of our projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project scope, schedule, and budget, communicating with clients, handling invoicing and change orders, coordinating and conducting laboratory testing and geotechnical analyses, preparing proposals, reports, and design documents, engaging in business development, managing client relationships, and supervising staff to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Your meticulous attention to geotechnical testing accuracy and timeliness, effective client and project management skills, and high-caliber report delivery bolster client satisfaction and foster trust in our capabilities. Your professionalism enhances our reputation and solidifies our industry standing, driving the growth and expansion of our geotechnical engineering services.

About You:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field

• You have a minimum of 8 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience

• You have at least 2 years of work experience as a project manager

• You have been working in the West Tennessee market for at least 5 years

• You have excellent computer skills with the ability to learn commercial software applications

• You have client relationships within the West Tennessee market

• You have a Professional Engineer license in Tennessee or the ability to obtain a plus
