Geographic Information Analyst (Departmental Analyst 9-P11)

This position serves as a Geographic Information System (GIS) analyst for the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC).  The primary function of this position is development of GIS or spatial data sets, data processing and analytics, data dissemination via ARCGIS Online, and support decision-making processes within the MPSC. This position will focus on energy issues including projects related to energy supply monitoring, infrastructure reliability, emergency preparedness, sustainability, renewable energy, customer support, and policy development.

Experience

Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.

Departmental Analyst 10

One year of professional experience.

Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.Departmental Analyst 9 - 12
