POSITION: General Worker - Ashland Middle School
6.5 hours per day-190 days
This is for the 2024-2025 School year, beginning August 15, 2024
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate
Bookkeeping and accounting skills
General aptitude for leadership
Energetic, productive, and customer-oriented attitude
Must have or obtain ServSafe Handler accreditation or able to obtain
Familiar with ODE Child Nutrition Lunch Guidelines
Experience in quantity standardized recipes and cooking
Able to maintain inventory and rotate products
Cashiering experience or ability to develop this skill, displaying honesty and integrity
Knowledge of proper operation of commercial equipment and safety procedures
Merchandising ability
Able to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain fast-paced production
Able to climb steps
Familiar with universal safety procedures for blood-borne pathogens and hazard communications
GENERAL DUTIES:
Respond to directives from Cook Manager and Supervisor in a professional and cooperative manner at all times
Prepare food
Do bookkeeping for state and federal reports
Cashier and keep accurate accounts of lunch program procedures
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator
COMPENSATION RANGE: Per Negotiated Contract
