General Worker (2Nd Or 3Rd Shift)

Position Overview

The General Worker is responsible for a variety of entry-level position tasks and is assigned wherever needed during their shift (This could lead to assisting in sheeting, printing, die cutting, finishing, forming and shipping departments as needed)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Material handling utilizing forklifts, clamp trucks and pallet jacks

• Feeding/operating machines

• Assisting in sheeting, printing, die cutting, finishing, forming and shipping departments as needed

• Performing quality checks

• General plant clean up

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Quality conscious individual

• Good communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Willingness to work 2nd shift (Monday

• Friday 2pm

• 10pm) or 3rd shift (Sunday

• Thursday, 10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but no experience required

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay ranges from $19.92- $23.00/hr, based on skills and experience. After probationary period, pay ranges from $24.91-$25.37 In addition to a competitive wage, we offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, life, pension and 401(k).

Division Description

The Folding Carton Division is an industry leading manufacturer of folding cartons for food, beverage, tissue, hardware, confectionary, and many other industries. Employing around 300 people, this facility designs, prints, and manufactures folding cartons, trays, and counter displays for a broad range of products and customers.
